LITTLE RED RIDER
Little Red Rider soared through town on her skateboard.
She flew by Forest Lane,
past Picnic Basket Park,
and straight toward Granny’s Pizzeria
until …
Big Wolf pedaled a bicycle into her path.
CRASH! BASH! SMASH!
“Wolf!” cried Red. “What were you thinking?”
“Sorry, Red. Didn’t see you coming.”
“Big,” said Red, “wolves don’t belong on wheels.”
The next day, Little Red Rider swooped through town on her scooter.
She flew by Forest Lane,
past Picnic Basket Park,
and straight toward Granny’s Pizzeria
when …
Big Wolf drove a go-kart right in front of her.
BUMP! WUMP! THUMP!
“Wolf!” cried Red. “What in the world are you doing?”
“Sorry, Red,” said Big Wolf. “Didn’t see you coming.”
“Wolves don’t belong on wheels!”
The following day, Little Red Rider zoomed through town on her rollerblades.
She flew by Forest Lane,
past Picnic Basket Park,
and she slowed as she spotted Granny’s Pizzeria.
Red looked to one side,
and then the other.
She peeked behind her.
“Whew!”
Red zipped toward Granny’s.
WHOOSH!
Big Wolf skated beside her.
“Wolf!” cried Red. “You’re wearing glasses!”
“Better to see you with,” said Big Wolf.
“Wow, what big eyes you have,” said Red.
Big Wolf grinned.
“And what big teeth you have!”
“Better to eat with,” said Big Wolf.
Little Red Rider raced off.
Big Wolf chased her.
They arrived at Granny’s place together.
“Wolves aren’t so bad on wheels,” said Red.
Then Red and Wolf went inside …
and shared a pepperoni pizza.
